Chrome Plating & Polishing Services
Smith Chrome Plating and Polishing performs both rack and barrel plating processes, depending on your needs. Rack plating is best for large or fragile items, while barrel plating is more effective and economical for small items in bulk.
In addition to rack and barrel plating services, Smith maintains 15 polishing stations capable of polishing steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, zinc die cast, aluminum, and many more metals and surfaces.
We provide decorative (hexavalent) plating for a wide variety of industries including antiques, automotive and motorcycle parts, medical, fire protection, food processing, and retail display equipment.

Clear Coating
For added protection, we can provide a baked on clear coating as an option for our hexavalent chrome plating. Examples include shock absorbers, springs, fire extinguishers, and other items that need an extra layer of protection due to exposure to extreme conditions or elements. Our clear coated products will pass most salt spray tests.
